The New England Forestry Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the conservation
and sustainable management of the private and municipal forestlands of New England.
We strive for the conservation and sound management of New England's forestlands through:
- Permanently protecting New England's forests through gifts and acquisitions of land for the benefit of present and future generations.
- Educating landowners, foresters, forest products industries, and the general public about the benefits of forest stewardship and multi-generational forest land planning.
- Actively managing Foundation lands as demonstration forests for sustainable management.
- Supporting the development and implementation of regional forest policy and forest practices for the New England forest resource that encourages and sustains private ownership.
- Conserving a working landscape that supports New England's ecological diversity, economic welfare, and quality of life.
