Cozy cabin getaway, surrounded by acres of quiet woodlands with ponds and trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. The cabin is located 5 miles from exit 2 off I-89, 12 miles from Woodstock and Suicide Six Ski Area, and approximately an hour drive to Killington, Stowe, and Okemo.

First Level: Living room with woodstove/fireplace insert, table & chairs, and futon couch that converts into a double bed.

Second Level: Fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower stall, two bedrooms - one has two twin beds, the other has a queen-size bed. All linens and towels are provided.


We have recently made many long overdue changes to the inside of the cabin. Among a few of the most notable improvements are:
New mattresses and box springs, including a queen-size bed that replaced two twin beds in one room
New futon couch that converts into a double bed
Blinds and curtains
All new dishes and cookware
New towels and bed linens
New lamps and tables


No Telephone or T.V.

Caretaker in Main House will take or allow emergency calls
Directions: From Interstate 89, take exit 2 at sharon. Go south on Rte. 132, go .10 mile, take right onto Rte. 14N. Go .30 mile, take left over White River. Follow road on right, go 1.5 miles to cemetery on right. Turn left under railroad bridge to Broadbrook Rd, follow 5 miles to E. Barnard village and take a right. After .20 mile take left fork up hill, through sawmill to end of road. Look for signs.

$525 / Week - 6 nights$200 deposit* in advance
$250 / Weekend ( 2 nights)$100 deposit* in advance
Additional nights$95 each
* All deposits are non-refundable
Note: New England Forestry Foundation members receive a 10% discount. Rates do not include 9% Vermont meal & room tax.
