In Sharon, participants discovered local wildflowers along Mountain Road in the Lincoln Davis Memorial Forest. Linda Claff, plant enthusiast and owner of the Three Maples B&B, lead the trek. Claff pointed out over twenty varieties of wildflowers, including Bluebeads, Indian Cucumber Root and Painted Trillium.
"I really learned a lot about the various wildflowers and their identifying features," said Chris Pryor, walk participant. "It's great to know more plants and their needs."
