nearly two thirds of its funding from our members and friends. Your contributions are truly the lifeblood
of this organization, making it possible for us to continue to protect and serve as an effective advocate
for New England's working forest. We are fortunate that, in this country, charitable giving to organizations
such as the New England Forestry Foundation is encouraged through tax deductions and avoidance of certain
capital gains and estate taxes.
